Water/Wastewater Estimator - Edinburgh/Glasgow/Dunfermline - 3 months +
We have a fantastic opportunities for experienced water/waste water estimators for an initial 3 months contract based in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Dunfermline. There may be an option to work from home.
You will be required to provide a cost estimating, estimate capital cost of projects for Business/Investment Plan and scope and size by process engineers, asset planners and designers to Capex 2 level data and below to allow for high level estimates.
Experience required -
- Working knowledge of one or more of these areas- Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Civil, Capital Maintenance, Water, Waste Water processes for Infrastructure and/or Non Infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of estimating and/or contractual pricing in public or private organisations.
- The candidate must have the ability to communicate with others using effective means to achieve results whilst having the capacity to adapt to new ways of working and capture data in a consistent clear and auditable manner.
- Minimum technically based HNC.
- Formal training in a related field.
- Experience of site based activities.
- Extensive experience in the construction and/or MEICA Industries.
- Experience in EES or estimating systems driven by Excel and/or Databases
