Key responsibilities:
• Global processing and purchasing of request for service related hardware, software, transportations, services and maintenance
• Processing of vendor quotes and request for quotes
• Vendor management includes the creation of new vendors in the
• Placing orders involving the regions EMEA, UK, US, Asia, Africa
• Tracking of approvals as well as notification and chasing of approvers
• Tracking of the delivery status according to requestor queries
• Delivery Management: Follow-up on delivery dates, schedules and receipt of goods
• Invoice Management: This includes the processing of invoice queries from vendors and requestors alike
• Continuous processing of monthly timesheets and verifying of the timesheet data against the orders
Essential experience:
• Knowledge of hardware (desktop, server, network)
• Knowledge of software related issues
• Experience in establishing good working relationships with internal teams, service providers and suppliers
• Commercial skills in trade business and purchasing on a global basis
• Understanding of risk analysis, gap analysis and trending
• Great breadth of understanding international mentality across cultures
• ITIL qualified to foundation level
• Excellent communication skills – both in English & German.
