Meelogic Consulting AG provides solutions and services for the mobile IT-world.Our primary focus is on mobile & internet-based enterprise applications as well as embedded intelligent systems.
For one of our projects in Berlin we are looking for two cartographers / cartography designers
Task
Work on the user experience of a navigation product, especially on the use of new data sets, which attributes to use and how to display them - from the specification to the documentation and launch.
For this project you will work together with our software development team onsite in our Office in Berlin-Friedrichshain

We are looking for the following know how
• Background in Cartography, Geography, GIS or related field
• Several years of experience in digital mapping and graphic design preferably for mobile devices or web applications
• Understanding of personal navigation device and web mapping markets
• Passion for cartography
• Drive for excellence and comfort working independently with little supervision
• Skilled user of Illustrator, Photoshop and multiple GIS packages
• Understanding of XML, json or CSS is a bonus
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Experience form SW development projects
• FluentEnglish, both written and spoken
• Good communications and negotiation abilities
