We are seeking for a client a Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Coordinator.To assure Safety-, Health- and Environmental compliance on grid connection projects connecting North Sea offshore wind parks,
To set up the projects Safety Health and Environment plan ensuring compliance to relevant legislation, customer standards and contractual requirements,
To organize and coordinate transparent follow up of SHE plans both by (sub)contractors as well as the project team,
To support (sub) project leads in SHE audits within (sub)contractors organisation and works,
To participate in and support the customer Offshore SHE department ensuring continuous improvement on SHE standards and procedures.
The coordination task in the scope of SHE includes the filling and steering of the different following roles as well as the related internal and external reporting. The coordinator fills single roles by himself.
o Conformable to § 6 ASIG, the health and safety officers have to support the employer in health and safety as well as in accident prevention questions including the arrangement of work.
o The specialist officer for hazardous material monitors the realisation of the requirements out of the hazardous substances ordinance and supports the employer or responsible person concerning the resulting tasks.
o Conformable to § 54 BImSchG, the specialist officer for immission control advises the responsible persons in all immission control relevant issues.
o Conformable to § 55 KrW-/AbfG, the waste manager advises and supports the employer and his responsible persons in all issues of waste disposal.
o Conformable to § 21b WHG, the specialist officer for soil and water protection monitors the compliance of the instructions of the WHG as well as the secondary orders and regulations. He supports the employer and supervisors while the realisation of the tasks.
o Conformable to § 1c GbV the risk prevention officer monitors the compliance with the dangerous goods regulations.
In order to be able to cope with these tasks, potential candidates should have the following competences:
Call for all necessary project documents of the contractor
Participation at all project core team meetings
Access to all necessary project documents
Requesting resources required for completing the tasks
Authority to give substantive instructions to the project members (including from other organization units) assigned to the PL / TPL for execution of the work package
Power to dispose of the approved budget for the sub-project
