Device Development SpecialistA Device Development Specialist is required to join a global pharmaceutical company located in Germany. A new team has been set up to deal with primary packaging projects and require the support of an open-minded and technically strong individual to work on various projects.
• To support the design and development of a new primary packaging component for a capsule/powder project.
o Support review and tolerance testing of current component and write a report.
o Development and prototyping of an alternative component - concept and strategical work to be undertaken.
o Testing of the prototype
o Report on findings for senior stakeholders
o Industrialise the new solution
• To support with the retrospective qualification for the QC lab to FDA/GMP requirements.
o Carry out gap analysis on the laboratory
o Devise a plan and schedule for outstanding work to be completed
• Confident to carry out hands on testing and development work
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical or engineering; or equivalent experience.
• Open minded approach to problem solving and development projects.
• Experience applying technical 'know how' to new areas, technologies or projects. Methodical, rigorous and with strong attention to detail.
• Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong communication abilities, able to work well in a team or individually.
• Able to work independently and manage own time.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis is a distinct advantage.
• German and English language skills desired.
