A leading global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Packaging Materials Expert to be responsible for a global packaging standardisation program. This position will be developing standards and processes across divisions so will be integral in the overall delivery of the program.Location: Basel, Switzerland
Duration: 12 months +
Role and Responsibilities:
• Creating and standardising global process validation procedures across all packaging sites
• Ensuring global cross divisional standardisation for topics such as line clearance, extractables & leachables
• Developing standards and specifications for new packaging equipment together with engineering departments
• Creating global standards for stability studies on packaging materials
• Creating global standards for shipping studies
Requirements:
• Degree educated in Materials Science / Engineering or similar
• Able to demonstrate vast experience of working with pharmaceutical packaging processes and materials
• Extensive knowledge of packaging materials, including polymer and foil
• Good knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations
• Previous history of delivering projects on a global program with stakeholders around the world
• Languages: English Essential
