A Renewable Energy Operator is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to complete a 3/4 months contract in Hamburg, starting ASAP (ASAP). The role will support the Package Manager and the VEFK (Electrical SAP) during the commissioning and handover phases of an Offshore Wind Project.There could be opportunity after this contract finishes supporting the operator's development projects with the client too.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate commissioning and operational handover,
- Management of commercial and contractual issues,
- Support of team topics, like reporting overviews, due dates, etc.
- Drive the transfer processes to O&M for Electrical General and Electrical TP
- Support daily tasks like ELE call, MCC meeting, etc.
- Promote good HSSE practices and ensure HSE/CDM requirements are fully implemented,
- Ensure that the technical assurance of design is reviewed with support from Asset Management,
- Support of the Operations and Maintenance organisation to ensure the handover
- 5 years of experience in Electrical Design and/or project management preferably within international Energy Projects or other major construction projects
- Very good understanding of the German electrical organisation requirements
- Experience with German electrical codes and German electrical distribution system
- Ideally University degree Electrical engineering, or similar
- Good understanding of technical and organisational processes
- Ability to structure complex processes
- Outstanding communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
