Tätigkeit:
Für unseren Kunden im Raum Stuttgart suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Engineering Systems IT Analyst (m/w). Die Tätigkeit findet im intzernationalen Umfeld statt und erfordert gute Englischkenntnisse.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Administration and support of global multi CAD systems (Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA V5, and
Siemens NX in a Windows environment
* Administration and support of CAE applications in a LINUX & Windows environment
* Project Management
* Administration and support of a PLM System (mySAP PLM)
* Expertise with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) concepts
* A solid understanding of R&D Design and Release processes
* Define and continuously develop the CAx and PLM architecture ensuring alignment with the overall IT Strategy and Business Objectives
* Facilitate testing - create test cases, complete system/integration testing, facilitate user acceptance testing
* Stay current with technology and determining the impact of hardware and/or software upgrades on new and existing applications
* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks
* Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
* Provide technical leadership and direction on assigned projects
* Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines
* Strong customer-service orientation
* Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
* Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
* Willingness to travel (up to 8 weeks/year)
* Drive ideas for IT technology to support engineering, technology roadmaps
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* A degree in mechanical engineering or computer science or in a related field
* Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of CAD/PDM
software solutions
* Minimum 3 years of previous in CAD/PDM administration experience in the Automotive Industry
* Experience in mechanical design and drafting methodologies is a plus
* Ability to work with minimal supervision; demonstrate initiative and make suggestions for
departmental process/procedure improvements
* Strong inter-personal and communication skills; capable of training users Engineering Systems
applications, making presentations to an internal audience and writing basic documentation
* Good skills with Windows commands/utilities
* Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment
Erforderliche Kenntnisse:
Automotive, CAD, Englisch, Linux, PDM, Windows
Wünschenswert:
CATIA V5, ProEngineer, Siemens NX
