Für unseren Kunden suche ich vier Senior DB2 Datenbankadministratoren (m/w)Startdatum: Januar 2016

Umfang: Vollzeit
Aufgaben:
- Implementing data models, build, change and optimize database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
- Code scripts for delivering test and productive systems
- Resource planning, Hard drive space optimizing
- Resolving database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication and other data issues
- Managing on-site backup and recovery process
- Planning for and execute required database upgrades or migrations
- Working with other application development, Information Architects and Database Designers to convert in Unicode and implement the physical data model (in excellent German Language)
- Takeover the technical E/R modeling in ERWin from the Modeling Team (for new DB or DB-changes)
- Complete the physical designs in ERWin
- Takeover the DDL in the DB2 Admin solution Pack
- Optimizing, and Troubleshooting the database with the DB2 Admin Solution Pack, Spufi, Data Studio
- Test and complete oft he DB Change Process
- Developing of the Job-Controls to convert the Systems inclusive replication. (Test & Production; 6 Systems, JCL, Control-M, Q-Replication)
- Support and maintenance within the converting process also on Saturdays
- Developing the administrative-jobs (Backup, Recovery, Reorganization for the process planning
- Developing, and run the database performance monitoring process and analyze data for optimization opportunities
Anforderungen:
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience as a Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator
- 5 years experience as a z/OS DB2 DBA (required)
- Knowledge of ISPF and JCL
- MUST HAVE Large Enterprise level experience (6+ Systems, JCL, Control-M, Q-Replication)
- Database Backup and Recovery knowledge and practical experience (required)
- Knowledge of DB2 (versions V10 and V11 preferred)
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and disciplines
- Solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures
- Strong Database Management skills, including backup and recovery procedures
- Experience with ERWin, ER-Modell, DB2 Admin Solution Pack on the mainframe, including knowledge of Data Studio, DB2 graphically analysis tools
- Solid skills in productivity factors and ability to understand impact of problem on overall database performance
- Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes - Solid skills with one or more programming language and design technique
- At least 5 years experience in participating in Database (DB) modeling sessions, creating logical and physical models
- At least 5 years experience in creating processes for promoting DB2 Objects from development through test and finally into production environments
- At least 5 years experience in overseeing and facilitating the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations
- At least 5 years experience in designing, coding, and testing data maintenance processes for conversions, archiving and purging
- German & English: Fluent
