Für ein Projekt bei unserem Kunden suchen wir eine/nSoftware Tester (f/m)
Location: Frankfurt a. M.
Duration: in September 2015. The project duration is currently foreseen until end of December 2015 with possibility to be extended.
Capacity: fulltime
Project Description and Context
We are looking for two dedicated software testers to join the IT development centre of our client in Frankfurt and help them to advance the technology and functionality of their Clearing systems. The variety of challenging tasks you will be accomplishing include reviewing specifications, preparing test cases and test models, design and implement scripts for test automation and of course the actual test execution (manual or automated). Their requirements in terms of complex functionality, high reliability and availability will thoroughly challenge your testing skills and provide ample opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and different process models
Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role
Experienced in reviewing requirements, test scenario identification, Test-Case designing, Test execution, Traceability Matrix, preparation of regression test suite, black box and white box testing approach, test automation, reviews, preparation of test reports and usage of test management tool (QC or ALM)
Working experience in agile project environment/methodologies
Technical background and good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, Python, Shell scripting etc.
Knowledge of automated testing tools, like WinRunner, QTP, Rational Robot, etc.
Familiarity with Linux and database PostgreSQL
Further requirements
An interest in financial markets and functional knowledge of derivatives and clearing activities
Good understanding of Application server JBoss, Operating system Linux and VMS
Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English is essential, German can be beneficial
Must be flexible, independent and self motivated
A team player, able to align & work together with testers at different test levels
Good to have a university degree in information technology/engineering.
