Our client is searching for an experienced Linux System Engineer for a freelance project in Berlin.
The role
- experience with a variety of Linux operating systems
- build and maintain autmoation scripts
- maitenance prodecures and tools
- Scripting, documentation, process definition and automation
- Deployment automation and version management
Your experience
- Very strong linux experience - preferably debian and ubuntu
- Agile experience
- experience working with a diverse technical team with minimal supervision
- creative to solve challenging technical problems
- Good experience with infrastructure techniques such as Puppet
- knowledge of packaging mechanisms
- Scripting
- Build automation and release tools such as Jenkins or maven etc
- Designing, testing and imporving highly available multi-data centre active/active clusters
- Source control systems
- Documenting, mapping and explaining complex environments
- English speaking
