MS SharePoint Developer
Location: Germany- Koln
Tasks & Responsibilities of the SharePoint Developer:
Assistance with design activities, Prototyping, Writing, maintenance and unit testing of programmes which reflect the specifications based on user requirements
Preparation of scripts for database migrations & for application installation (to be used by the support team)
Assistance with the testing of such programmes together with the other programmes making up the system
Production of relevant technical documentation and documentation for the support team
Experience in working in an environment with technical teams comprised of testers, analysts and system administrators
Assistance with evaluation and testing of products delivered by external system suppliers to ensure that they conform to Agency requirements and methodology
Developing various SharePoint elements like SharePoint Web Parts, workflows, event receivers, content types, features, forms, master pages, timer jobs
Following good SharePoint practices of programming
Providing developed elements in consistent form of solutions and features with proper installation scripts
Provide support and expertise to other teams and as 3rd support level to end-users in SharePoint 2007 and 2010 field
Development and Maintenance of ASP.NET (MVC 3) Web sites
Development and Maintenance of Silverlight (MVVM) Applications
Provide support and expertise to other teams and as 3rd support level to end-users for above applications
Follow standard good practices in programming with c#
Skills and Experience of the SharePoint Developer:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field;
Minimum 2 years of experience in the below listed Microsoft technologies;
Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013, and in document and record management;
Experience in migration of SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013;
Expertise with the development process for Share point (tools, guidance, practices);
Experience in Visual Studio 2010, .NET 3.5, SQL 2008 R2, C#, ASP.NET (with MVC ), Silverlight or WPF, HTML, CSS, JS;
Expertise in MOSS architecture, InfoPath Form services, Workflow, Share Point designer, Team Foundation Server, WSS;
Experience with T-SQL, XSLT, LinQ & MVC and MVVM patterns;
Experience in writing unit tests in Visual Studio;
English and German
