IT Security/Information Security Expert - Contract €500-€800/day - Berlin
My client based in Berlin is urgently looking for an experienced IT Security Expert. The IT Security Specialist will support IS Security department during a period of high workload with operational security related tasks.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Significant experience with Information Security and Risk Management.
- Practical experience operating with Technical Security Controls ie Access Control and Encryption.
- Experience with Application Security.
- Experience in risk management and proactive Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
- Fluency in English.
The candidate will be involved with and should ideally have experience with the following:
- Supporting the IT Security Department.
- Interpretation of existing security controls and requirements based on existing IT policies and standards.
- Defining security requirements for individual projects.
- Revising and responding to Firewall change requests as well as dealing with complex end user requests and queries.
- Managing and increasing the information database on current security topics.
- Enforcing security requirements towards requestors.
