Field Marketing Consultant (m/w): Munich, Frankfurt or Cologne

The role of the Field Marketing Contractor is to manage in country marketing activities across several solution areas. This function serves as a key contact point for German sales teams and management as well as for other regional and Europe-wide marketing team members. You will work with team members focused on channel and other routes-to-market to maximize the impact and results from their activities. This function works to ensure marketing activities achieve or exceed planned marketing contribution to the overall sales revenue figures.

Your tasks:
Build the field marketing plan for Germany - aligning activities with product and sales priorities and available budget - to support pipeline and revenue goals.
Manage the execution of marketing activities through our agency in region - examples would include seminars, in-person marketing events, trade shows.
You will have the full support of an event agency who would handle logistics, on site attendance, lead capture etc. Campaigns you design and execute will be leveraged by both channel marketing (for partners) and multiple sales teams within the commercial organisation.
Work closely with other teams to build an integrated, non-conflicting German marketing calendar.
Build and maintain relationships with regional sales leaders to continuously showcase the contribution that marketing makes to their success.
Be a partner to Sales - understand competitive scenario, market conditions and the Field tactics that deliver for them.
Share best practices, plans and materials as appropriate.
Monitor and report on the results of Field activities including; lead flow, pipeline and revenue generation.
Manage assigned Field Marketing budget, including course correction activities when plans change and/or results vary
Maintain/update budget and reporting tools on a weekly basis.

Your Profile:
5+ years marketing experience in a field or marketing role for a software or information technology company, with proven success and strong initiative to execute effective marketing campaigns. Experience in planning and executing marketing programs and events.
Must be results driven and capable of working independently, representing marketing in the field to the sales organisation.
Fluency in German and English is mandatory
Ability to work as part of a virtual team.
Strong communication and influencing skills. Excellent relationship building and networking skills.
Knowledge of enterprise software market preferred, in areas such as security, systems management, data protection, or information management a distinct advantage.
Solid written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
Team player willing to work in cross-functional sales and marketing teams.
