Harvey Nash are a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, a global Telecommunications company in Munich we are currently looking for an Embedded Windows OS Developer to join on the basis of a long-term freelance relationship. (m/w) Project Start:ASAP)
Project duration:6 months++
Location: Munich
Task description:
- Energy Management Development
- Power and Battery Management
- Processing defect tickets generated by customer and/or internal project resources
- Developing, Validating, Debugging, Maintaining and supporting software for IOSM/energy management
- Defects related to crashes, wrong functionality or performance of battery management and sensor modules.
- Crash analysis with crash inspect and Lauterbach, collecting additional information from ticket submitter.
- Processing enhancement tickets
- Participate in design and code reviews
Technical Know-how:
- Expert knowledge of Windows OS/Windows Mobile
- Programming and driver development for Embedded platforms
- Fluent in Embedded C/C++
Nice to have knowledge:
- Power and Battery Management
- Knowledge of Inter-Processor-Communication (IPC) technologies (PCIe, USB, Shared Memory)
- Knowledge of ThreadX, Embedded Linux/Android
- Strong analytic skills needed for design but also for maintenance phase
- Experience with USB Drivers in Linux or Battery Management
Soft Skills:
- Good inter-personal skills
- Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
- Proactive attitude
- Desire to work hard and improve on a daily basis
- Ability to work within large teams as well as focus on individual goals
