We are looking for an ETL-Developer (f/m) for our customer in Munich.
Aufgaben:
Design, Develop and unit Test ETL (Extract Transform Load) Jobs using PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) to integrate new/changed data sources into the Data Warehouse based on the business requirements following ETL best practices.
Mentor other ETL developers in enhancing their skills and bring up the expertise level within the team.
Analysis of requirements, creation of state of the art application architecture and solutions within our own software stack as well as integration of third party applications
Implementation together with an agile team in different stages of the software development life cycle - architecture, implementation, testing and integration, up to the rollout and maintenance
Reverse-engineering SQL queries and develop equivalent ETL Jobs or create equivalent Microstrategy Reports
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or several years of equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience in Data Warehouse development and implementing ETL Solutions using PDI (Pentaho Data Integration). Ideal candidate has 5+ Years hands-on experience in PDI.
- Experience with other ETL Tools (Datastage, Informatica, BODS, Talend, Abinitio etc) to compensate for lesser experience in PDI
- Good knowledge of Data warehousing, SQL, Dimensional Modelling and Linux
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Self-motivated, able to think independently and Great agile team player
