For our client, based in Berlin - Europe's creative tech capital - we are seeking for a iOS Games Developer.Our client ist one of of the world's most popular developers. Employees from 40 nations work together to develop top titles for a global audience. You are working in independent Teams who making great games for mobile.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
As part of a cross-functional team you will be responsible for the development and design of fun and highly scalable iPhone and iPad games. Grab the chance to develop applications which will reach millions of users all around the world.
- Build high-quality, intuitive user interfaces for our games
- Improve usability of existing games
- Quickly build prototypes from concepts and then incorporate (user) feedback
- Work closely with Software Engineers and Operations to build games
- Participate in design and code reviews
Mandatory Skills:
We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys building high quality products used by millions. Ideally you have a good product sense, an understanding of the web ecosystem, strong personal initiative and the ability to prioritize. You can multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- iOS developer with a proven track record of app development
- Experience working with Objective C
- Good understanding of OOP, Algorithms, Design Patterns, Code Optimization
- Good knowledge of communication with backend services
- Experience working with version control system, ideally using git
- Distinctive passion for high-quality and intuitive user interfaces
- Good knowledge of agile development principles and automated testing tools
- Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable and tested code
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of OpenGL ES and Cocos2D is advantegeous
- Games experience is a big plus
