Your tasks:
- Design and develop C++ SW items for the robot’s real-time control platform that provide a robust operating environment to application- or function-specific software for the communication via network and/or embedded APIs
- Define and execute verification plans, test software and fix bugs
- Review code and ensure that all software meets quality standards
- Prepare and participate in design reviews
- Document or participate in the documentation of the software including architecture and design detail, unit testing, anomaly tracking and reports
Your qualifications
- BSc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering - MSc. preferred
- Profound experience in a similar role and experience in developing software for real-time systems
- Expert coding skills in C++
- Experience in integrating hardware and software, particularly in an embedded context
- Hands-on experience with real-time software, expert knowledge of one or more real-time OS is desirable, QNX preferred
- Device drivers (kernel- or user-space)
- Experience with compliant development processes (medical IEC-62304 preferred)
- Fluency in English is required as well as good German skills
