TätigkeitenbeschreibungFür unseren Kunden aus dem Raum Zürich/Schweiz suchen wir schnellstmöglich einen Category Manager Technical Parts (m/w) im Rahmen eines groß angelegten Projektes im Beschaffungsbereich (Non-IT).
Task:
This role is partly an excellence role supporting the line category managers to update the current category strategies to a best-in-class level. This will include a very specific description of the supply base that the client wants to achieve. Thus, being sure that what will be done in the short term will also work in the long term.
The other part of the role concerns the implementation of the supply strategy, where the client will need to move very quickly regarding for example exit strategies to phase out suppliers and consolidate spend on best competitive suppliers.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years experience in global category management in a medium large / large size corporation.
* Experience must include intercontinental category experience preferably including both China and India.
* Experience with setting up supply chain solutions including transport, inventory management, consignment inventory solution for mainly overseas suppliers.
* Negotiation skills and good experience regarding best practice preparing negotiations.
* Experience working with and negotiating framework agreements / supplier contract for strategic suppliers.
All of above preferably in the tech / machinery industry.
Candidate must have experience with mechanical parts.
Good German and English language skills required.
