We are currently looking for an IT Operations Specialist - Server/Application Infrastructure (m/f/d) for a company in the financial sector based in Munich (near the central station). The position is to be filled on a temporary basis. The planned duration is approx. 18 months. The position is full-time and home office is possible up to 2 days per week.Tasks
– Monitoring, solution of incidents and execution of standard requests in our server application infrastructure landscape. If required with close cooperation towards external providers and „3rd level support“
– Definition of requirements of the IT operations/support for development teams to be included in new or changed services
– Documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and known errors
– Continuous improvement of the operations activities
Requirements/Knowledge/Experience
– University degree preferably in computer science or comparable work experience
– Cooperation and steering of external providers
– Structured work in a process oriented environment including the reliable use of a ticketing system
– Experience in operations and support of server applications; knowledge of PowerCenter is an advantage
– Good Linux skills
– High degree of motivation, reliability and self-responsibility, team worker and strong communicator and an above-average willingness to perform
– Participation in update activities on the weekend
– Fluent in English, fluent in German is an advantage
