Liebe Freiberufler,für unseren Kunden suchen wir schnellstmöglich einen Senior Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop and Laptop Support:
• Provide on-site support for hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to users' workflow.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications as required.
• Perform hardware repairs and replacements as necessary, including components such as hard drives, memory, and motherboards.
Troubleshooting:
• Respond to IT support tickets and inquiries in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
• Identify root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex problems and escalate issues to senior technicians or vendors when necessary.
Data Center Support:
• Gain an understanding of data center infrastructure and equipment, including servers, networking devices, and storage systems.
• Assist with physical tasks in the data center, such as rack mounting servers, cable management, and equipment installation.
• Follow safety protocols and best practices when working in the data center environment to ensure the integrity and security of IT systems.
Documentation and Training:
• Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, hardware configurations, and software licenses.
• Create and update documentation for common IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices, security protocols, and self-service resources.
Other Basic details:
• 6-8 years of Proven experience in providing technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals in a corporate environment.
• Solid understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, etc)
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to IT support.
