For our client we are looking for a SAP Second Level Support Specialist - Interface Expert (m/f/d)Start: März/April 2024
Duration: 6 months +
Working location: Remote from Germany
Tasks:
The SAP Second Level Support Specialist - Interface Expert is responsible for managing and maintaining the interfaces within the SAP system. This role primarily focuses on handling various interfaces such as IDocs, XML, SOAP, and REST. The individual in this position will work closely with the project team, business analysts, Client – IT personnel and end-users to ensure the smooth functioning of data exchange between different systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interface Management: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the interfaces within the SAP system, including IDocs, XML, SOAP, and REST interfaces.
2. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve interface-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange between systems.
3. Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of interfaces, ensuring data integrity and adherence to defined standards.
4. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for interfaces, including technical specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
5. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to provide second-level support for interface-related queries and issues.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize interface performance, enhance data quality, and streamline processes.
Requirements:
• Solid experience in SAP interface management, particularly with IDocs, XML, SOAP, and REST interfaces.
• Proficiency in SAP modules and integration technologies – most desirably PM / MM.
• Strong knowledge of interface design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP middleware solutions, such as SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.
• Understanding of data exchange formats and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Interest to Investigate and learn about bespoke solutions.
