We are currently working with a large biotech customer located in NRW, Germany, they are looking DevOps specialist for a project focusing the optimisation and automation of their critical infrastructure.Logistics
Contract type: Freelance
Contract Length: 12 months
Work type: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with software development and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for our DevOps processes in compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements in our DevOps practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes and systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in the life sciences or healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in life sciences. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
