For our client we are looking for a Consultant (f/m/d) Backup & Restore/ Disaster RecoveryOutline Data:

Duration: 31.10.24++
Capacity: fulltime, if possible
Location: mostly remote, meetings in Kitzingen if needed

Tasks:
- You drive and own state-of-the-art infrastructure solutions for more than 30,000 users and 200 industrials as well as office sites across the globe
- You contribute to the design of effective IT disaster recovery and backup strategies, plans and procedures to ensure sustainable protection against data loss and timely recovery in the event of a disaster.
- You contribute and support the target state of data protection and recovery solutions to accelerate hybrid cloud adoption.
- Act as the technical lead for all backup and restore topics, contributing to future strategy decisions, local/global demands and projects (including roll-outs) and technical discussions with vendors/providers
- Work with 3rd party vendors and internal operations teams for solution designs, implementation of projects, integrations, continuous improvement, and support advanced troubleshooting activities
- Support the design of target backup solutions, including all relevant standards, industry best practices and other relevant guiding principles, considering a global hybrid cloud architecture
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Backup and Restore architecture artifacts
- Lead technology products evaluation and provide input to technology purchases’ decision making process
- Communication with the management to support the decisions regarding the Next Generation Services within your area
Skills:
- You have successfully led or supported the development and maintenance of an IT Backup and Restore strategy and related artifacts design for a large international enterprise
- Ideally, you do have experiences with the different backup and restore technologies of different platforms/infrastructure such VMware, SQL, Azure, SaaS, SAP..
- You convince with a track record in designing modern infrastructure solutions and related hybrid cloud architectures in large global enterprises (industrial environment is a plus)
- You have an excellent understanding of large-scale, high-availability multi-cloud environments and related infrastructure services (Backup, restore, archiving)
- You have a good knowledge in a variety of technologies in the respective area (Azure, Rubrik, IBM ISP), ideally supplemented by relevant certifications
- You are praised as proactive team player with a solid balance of “can do” and “early adopter”-mentality
- You have strong communication and conflict resolution skills within IT and towards business at all levels
- You are fluent in English and ideally in German
