Job Title: Freelance Automotive Embedded Software Engineer – DCDC Converters & Powertrain SolutionsJob Overview: One of my internationally leading Automotive Tier 1 suppliers are actively seeking a skilled Freelance Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic team in North Rhine Westphalia. This role is pivotal in advancing cutting-edge solutions in DCDC converters and powertrain technology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing embedded software components, executing integration tests, and contributing expertise to enhance the clients powertrain solutions.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Software Integration for Powertrain Solutions:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate software components into our powertrain solutions.
• Ensure efficient integration to meet the high standards of our automotive solutions.
2. Development and Execution of Integration Tests:
• Design and execute comprehensive integration tests using modern CI/CD tools.
• Enhance testing processes for optimized performance in powertrain solutions.
3. Design and Implementation of Embedded Software:
• Lead the design and implementation of software components tailored for our powertrain solutions.
• Verify functionality and efficiency, meeting stringent project requirements.
4. Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration:
• Actively share expertise in embedded software and powertrain solutions with the team.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen our collective capabilities.
Qualifications:
1. Professional Experience:
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry.
2. Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in embedded software development, particularly in DCDC converters and powertrain solutions.
3. Additional Skills:
• Familiarity with automatic code generation using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Desirable knowledge of AUTOSAR.
4. Language Skills:
• Very good command of English
• German speaking preferred.
Logistics:
• Start Date: Q1 2024
• Work Situation: Onsite (North Rhine Westphalia)
• Contract Length: 6 Months Minimum (extension possible)
