About the role: Expert Web Application Firewall (WAF) & DDoS Operations Engineer

Web Application Firewall (WAF) & DDOS Operations Engineer works as part of the team to manage and secure web-based applications hosted on-premises and in the cloud.


This position will be

- At least 3 years of work experience in at least one of the following related fields;
- Experience in WAF (web application firewall) technologies (WAF / DDoS / BOT protection)
- Lead the engineering, configuration, deployments, and maintenance of the Web Application Firewall and DDoS solutions
(Akamai, imperva, AWS, F5, Barracuda, Fortiweb, Citrix , A10 (at least 1 of them must))
- Security standards (OWASP Top10, CIS, NIST, etc.) knowledge
- Cloud Security knowledge
- Reviewing monthly reports of the security activities, health-checks and configurations
- Performing hands-on WAF deployment, configuration, policy fine-tuning and maintenance
- Ensuring 24/7 availability, security, and high-performance functioning of the system infrastructure
- Providing after-hours support for emergencies and planned maintenance activities
