Business Analyst - Banking - Risk and Compliance / Processes -This is a long term contract opportunity requiring profound Banking and Risk knowledge for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Analyzing the working processes of the Banking Compliance department, identifying and articulating processes that can be improved through technology and automation
- Evaluating existing in-house systems to determine their suitability for optimizing Banking Compliance processes
- Documenting functional requirements, collaborating with Analyst Developers to create technical specifications
- Translating requirements into product backlog items in accordance with Agile practices
- Coordinating with other workstreams and IT to align on related items and dependencies
Your experience/knowledge:
- Proven track record in business analysis, including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and optimization
- Previous experience in systems analysis, particularly in optimizing systems
- Strong technical knowledge with good understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of Banking Compliance, in particular GRC systems, Sanctions Screening, and Trade Surveillance would be an advantage
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
