For our end customer in the Bern area we are looking for an Application Engineer OMSYour main task will be to support and operate the output management system.
Tasks:
- Operating the output management system
- View and analyze log files
- Restart OMS service if required
- Willingness to learn the application and the process (documentation available)
- Monitoring and logging
- Batch processing
- Regular coordination with the specialist departments
- Ensure tooling setup and level of services by liaising with the ITS IS SHIFT leader
- Ensure tools configuration aligned with planning requirements
- Ensure performance review for output management and data archiving cycles
- Monitor tools usage and efficiency by building dashboard on usage and performance
Requirements:
- Experience with output management systems
- Experience in Windows Server debugging
- Nice to have: Experience in SAP, French language, experience with JobScheduler from SOS Berlin, experience in Service Level Desk 1 level
Project details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (+ extension option)
- Workload: 4 days per week
- Location: Bern area (3-4 weeks onboarding, then 100% remote)
- Language: English
