Our client in the Canton area is looking for a C#/Software Engineer. This is a 6+ month project and could last up to 2 years!
Candidates need to have:
C# - Definitely needed
True application development experience as opposed to the web based apps.
Any kind of hardware interaction - from hardware control, to event driven programming, data control, etc.
Strong Customer interaction skills.
Job description
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing both functional and technical designs from detailed requirements utilizing your knowledge of the programs and products.
Some essential functions of this position include:
- Creating designs and programs
- Provide internal and external support, evaluating and researching tools and products that could be used in current and future development
- Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
- Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test or modify computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications
- Document, test, create or modify computer programs related to the design of software or hardware for computer operating systems
Experience and skills that will be especially useful include:
.NET and C# development
XML technologies, especially XSLT and XML Schema
HTML and Javascript
Hardware Control
Event driven programming
Multi-Threaded programming
Embedded systems experience
