We have an opportunity for an ambitious and intelligent UK based .Net developer who specialises in test and QA to take on new projects and establish a dedicated test engineering team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise quality development test and continuous integration frameworks in .Net to automate the quality assurance of the Vigilant code-base.

Manage the testing process to ensure that products receive the right level of quality assurance across unit, system, integration, regression and UAT.

Steer testing processes within the development team to ensure Vigilant is building reliable, bug-free products.

Get involved with development planning and deliver to agreed deadlines using the most effective test techniques.

Take an active role in creating development processes and guidelines to continually improve software quality and ease of development.

Keep up to date with the latest tools, technologies and techniques that will enable us to deliver solutions with better quality, faster and more efficiently.

Experience

Demonstrable experience of the design and development of .Net test frameworks and continuous integration frameworks.

Solid development background utilising .Net and related technologies.

Experience with testing data driven applications.

A strong focus on software quality,

Experience of UI driven testing.

A demonstrable ability to quickly grasp complex technical and architectural issues.

In addition, candidates will be expected to have:

Exceptional communication skills, including written and spoken English.

A working day that overlaps with normal UK working hours.

Remuneration: Up to £50k per annum depending on skills and experience.
