Our leading European microelectronic client is looking for a Digital Design Engineer to join them in the Netherlands on a contract to permanent basis. Our client develops high performance, low power mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive and portable applications. They are looking for an expert to start on this exciting opportunity ASAP.Job Responsibilities:
This Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for defining the digital system requirements specification and translating it into a digital system architecture, including block level specifications. The Digital Design Engineer will be able to technically guide the design team through the implementation, verification and documentation phase of the project life cycle. A good knowledge of signal processing is required, as well as a thorough understanding of the digital design flow. Also the Digital Design Engineer should still be eager to design, implement and verify on block and IC level.
Job Requirements:
• M.S./Ph.D. with more than 4 years of experience as Digital IC Designer
• Experienced in setting up digital system and block level specifications and working out an architecture
• Track record and experience in designing IP and IC designs containing digital filters, DSP cores and peripherals is an advantage
• Knowledge of digital CMOS circuits and systems
• Affinity with analog & mixed-signal designs
• Experience with Cadence design environment
• Front-end RTL design (VHDL / Verilog) and top-level verification
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical, pragmatic and driven personality
